September 3-5, 2014

UC Berkeley, California

Welcome to the 3rd International Conference on Earthquake Early Warning.

This three-day meeting will facilitate implementation of earthquake alerts. The event will bring together scientists, policy makers, engineers, social scientists, and business representatives from public and private sector institutions to examine the state of the art in earthquake early warning today and to innovate new ways to push the technology forward. Channeling the experience of these interdisciplinary groups, the meeting will address current challenges, lessons learned from systems currently in operation worldwide, and ultimately forge a path toward fulfillment of public early warning systems in the U.S. and around the world.

This meeting follows two previous international meetings on EEW. The first being at California Institute of Technology, and the second being at Kyoto University.
