A moderate earthquake occurred at 05:40 PM. This event was located about
6 miles ENE of San Simeon, CA. The local magnitude is ML=4.0. The highest
instrumental intensity was IV near the epicenter.
- 29 August, 21:30 PDT
A moderate earthquake occurred at 09:30 PM located about 6 miles NW of
San Benito, CA. The local magnitude for this event is ML=4.0. The highest
instrumental intensity was II over a wide area.
- 16 August, 00:39 PDT
A mild earthquake occurred at 12:39 AM about 14 miles W of Paso Robles, CA.
The local magnitude for this event is ML=3.8. The highest instrumental
intensity was IV near the epicenter.

A mild earthquake occurred at 12:32 AM. This epicenter was located about
off the coast of Northern California about 15 miles W of Petrolia, CA.
