29 September
At 4:19 PM (PDT), a minor earthquake occurred about 25 miles WNW
of Petrolia, CA. The local magnitude (ML) of this earthquake was 3.4.
At 2:54 PM (PDT),a minor earthquake occurred about 12 miles SW of Tom's
Place, in the Mammoth Lakes region of California. This moment magnitude
(Mw) of this earthquake was 3.8.
The maximum
Modified Mercalli Intensity was III. You may wish to view the

At 7:56 AM (PDT), a strong earthquake was recorded in the Gulf of Mexico, with an epicenter located 260 miles WSW of
Clearwater, Florida; the moment magnitude of the earthquake was 5.8.
