What about tsunamis?

In the United States, NOAA is the primary agency tasked with the responsibility of tsunami warning. Through the National Weather Service, NOAA operates two tsunami warning centers - the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center and the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. A recent report on the Tsunami Hazard Mitigation is available. NOAA maintains a database of tsunami information at the National Geophysical Data Center. NOAA contributes to an international monitoring effort, known as the International Tsunami Information Center.
