Tom was a family man. Many of us know what a pleasure it was to work with him on a project. But some of my fondest memories were of times when we shared a comp ground at Lake Pillsbury or a ski cabin in the Sierras. While water skiing with our combined ten children time was precious. If one or the other of the kids stayed up too long he would simply dump them to make way for the next person. At Squaw Valley Tom would take great pleasure to catch the lift chair with the kids just seconds before it was closed and then all ski down from the highest mountain and be among the last to call it quits for the day.

My wife and I and our children will always remember Tom. He was a great friend and we will truly miss him.
