A Celebration of
Tom McEvilly's Life

September 2, 1934 - February 22, 2002

April 22, 2002
The Great Hall, Faculty Club
University of California, Berkeley

Tom lived his eight months with cancer as he lived any other period of his life; with great scientific interest, humor, optimism, humility, hope, and privacy. He remained confident that he would continue his work, enjoy his children and grandchildren, and get back to fishing at the lake. His cheerfulness, love of life and people, endeared him to those who cared for and visited with him throughout his illness. In his living and in his dying, he was an inspiration to his family and friends.
