Barbara Romanowicz elected to the NAS

Dr. Barbara Romanowicz, Director of the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory and Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science, was elected to the National Academy of Science today. She was one of 72 new members and 18 foreign associates recognized for "their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research".
