Cal Day

Calday 2016

Date: Saturday April 16th

Jump up and down to make your own quake, investigate seismic waves using giant springs, or discover more about earthquake science with our interactive displays. Get your Science@Cal Passport stamped here!

CalDay is that special day when the entire Cal Campus opens its doors for prospective students and community members. Many departments have exhibits and demonstrations for everyone and every interest. The Berkeley Seismological Lab is proud to share in this tradition. Stop by 220 McCone Hall and have lots of fun while learning about earthquakes, plate tectonics, tsunamis and more!!! Younger guests can get their very own seismogram and everyone can watch BSL seismic data in real time. For more information about CalDay, and to plan your CalDay, please visit:
