Slicing up the San Francisco Bay Area: Block kinematics and fault slip rates from GPS-derived surface velocities. Journal of Geophysical Research, doi: 10.1029/2004JB003496. itrf00 ITRF00-NNR reference frame itrf00_northamerica North American Reference frame, established using the sites defined in SCEC CMM3. The ITRF00 is used to designate that the file began as a solution in ITRF 2000 NNR, but was rotated into the best fitting North American frame... The best-fit pole and rotation were performed using Brendan Meade's BLOCK Modeling Code. The following files are in a local reference frame where we hold the station LUTZ (a BARD continuous station on the Bay block in the southern Bay Area) fixed and determine all velocities relative to that single station. LUTZ_farfault BAVU1.01 relative to a stable LUTZ. All sites near the Hayward fault are excluded from this file because they tend to make plots messy. LUTZ_nearfault Companion to above file containing the sites near the Hayward fault. LUTZ_fixedstation The coordinates of LUTZ...
