CONCLUSIONS
Quick Heat Pulses:
- extremely sensitive to large earthquakes ( > 4 - 6 m slip)
- less sensitive to smaller magnitude events
- useful within a narrow depth range of the exhumed
- useful only along extremely narrow fault zones
Broad Heat Anomalies:
- Could be observable in certain depth ranges.
- Occur on time scales that could be very sensitive to advective
heat transport.
Notes:
So what does it all mean?
