More Alaska Pictures

This was the first time we set up an antenna on a spike mount. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was.

Frost and snow are things that we are not use to seeing on equipment. Who knew a compass could double as an ice scraper!

Where oh where is the benchmark? Not even a hand-held GPS and metal detector were able to help us this time.

Is that someone jackhammering 10 ft away from our site?!  Luckily, it turned out to be someone from the team who knew what they were doing! If you look closely, you can see the receiver to the right of the tallest tree.
