Environmental geology is about the interactions between the Earth's environment and its people. We will focus on natural hazards and natural resources, and learn about the physical, chemical and biological processes responsible for them. We will also consider societal dependence and sensitivity to these processes in an effort to determine appropriate environmental public policy.
