About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Earth and Planetary Science at U.C. Berkeley. I work with Prof. Barbara Romanowicz in the Global Seismology Research Group at the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory.

Research

My work is focused on full-waveform seismic imaging of Earth's interior at global scales. The overall goal of my research is to deepen our understanding of the dynamic processes that continue to shape our planet.

SEMum2

Coordinated with the release of our paper "Waveform Tomography Reveals Channeled Flow at the Base of the Oceanic Asthenosphere" on Science Express, we are making the SEMum2 model available for download here.

In my copious spare time, I also enjoy both cooking and coding. If you're a fan of functional languages (primarily Haskell and Scala at the moment) you may find the latter interesting.
